Important:
Deleting your account is permanent and cannot be undone. All your wallet balances, order history, and personal data will be removed from our systems within 30 days, except records we are required to retain by law (KYC documents, transaction records for tax compliance under Indian regulations — retained up to 7 years).
How to Delete Your Account
Option A — Delete from the App
Open the Roopay Shoppe app → Go to Profile tab → Tap Settings → Scroll to 'Delete Account' → Confirm with your password and OTP.
Option B — Delete from the Website
Log in at www.roopayshoppe.com → Go to Profile → Account Settings → Click 'Delete Account' → Confirm with password and OTP.
Option C — Email Request
Send an email to [email protected] from your registered email address with subject: 'Account Deletion Request' and include your registered mobile number. We will process your request within 7 business days.
What Data is Deleted
✅ Deleted within 30 days
- • Name, email, phone number
- • Profile photo
- • Wallet balances (zero out first)
- • Device tokens and sessions
- • Saved addresses
- • Cart and wishlist data
⚠️ Retained for legal compliance
- • KYC documents (RBI requirement)
- • Transaction records (Income Tax Act)
- • TDS certificates
- • Order invoices and GST records
